On-site Maintenance Tandet's On-Site Service programs save you the hassle and time of taking your equipment off-site for preventative maintenance. Having one company coordinate the maintenance of all your auxiliary power generators and powered mobile maintenance and transit equipment can save you management time as well as make the maintenance process more efficient.
Custom programs for almost any equipment Programs are custom developed for your company upon a site inspection of all equipment needing preventative maintenance. Where possible, we provide a one-company solution to all your site maintenance challenges, subject to equipment maintenance and performance criteria requirements. Annual checkups include changing the oil and starting and taking the generator through a 20-point inspection. Every maintenance program is customized based on a site inspection and performance criteria to meet the specific needs of our customers.
Emergency Service. 24/7 We know the importance of responsiveness; of having someone ready any time, day or night, for emergency service. Our 24/7 critical equipment emergency service program is one of our most attractive features to our customers. When you need us most, Tandet is there. Using a specialized maintenance scheduler computer program, Tandet ensures all required maintenance is scheduled and done with appropriate records maintained. Maintenance procedures are implemented according to ISO 9002 quality standards. AT THE READY! There is no time for "getting set". The biggest challenge with emergency power generation and a standby emergency fire pump is the immediate need for start-ability along with reliability. They must start and be up to speed with-in seconds. That means they have to be continually tested and serviced to make sure they are ready when you need them. Our industrial service clients are diverse large retail stores, universities, apartment complexes, communication towers, and manufacturing plants as well as water and sewage plant systems, to name a few. They all have one thing in common, a concern for safety and a dedication to be ready for any power interruption emergency. Remember the ice storm of 1998, or the blackout of 2003! Retailers, especially those with refrigeration units, want to be assured of controlled temperature in the event of a power failure. They are also concerned for safety if the lights suddenly go out; a concern shared by apartment and other community property managers. Manufacturers know that a production line can be shut down and equipment damaged if power is interrupted. In the case of locations not on community water systems, their emergency fire pumps must also always be ready. Prevention Costs Less The cost of preventative maintenance does not compare to the impact of power interruption or damage if the diesel engine in a fire pump won't start. Tandet's philosophy in servicing diesel generator engines is based on prevention. We don't leave anything to chance. Our experience has taught us to anticipate potential problems and then establish a preventative maintenance program that takes these circumstances into consideration for assured performance. Dedicated Trained Technicians We have technicians trained and certified in Power Generation and qualified to perform repairs on Caterpillar, Cummins and Detroit engines as well as other makes such as Dorman, Hercules and Fiat.
